New Podcast: Criminal Conviction of Tennessee Nurse; What’s The Nursing Impact In South Carolina?

This week on the Collins & Lacy Legal Bench podcast, we are joined by President of the SC Nurses Association, Dr. Kelly Bouthillet, to discuss the impact in the nursing community from the recent announcement of the criminal conviction of former Tennessee nurse, RaDonda Vaught. On March 25, 2022 Vaught was convicted on counts of gross neglect of an impaired adult and negligent homicide, tied back to a 2017 fatal drug error. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 13th. We are thankful to Dr. Bouthillet for her time and for sharing her thoughts on how these charges can cause a ripple effect across the entire nursing community. Listen here.
