Senior Paralegal – Defense Litigation
Collins & Lacy, P.C. seeks an experienced senior paralegal to support the firm’s practice groups. The position will be based in the firm’s Columbia office.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of civil defense litigation experience.
Our Litigation Defense practices are vibrant and growing. All that is needed is a senior paralegal who has civil defense experience.
- Experience with civil litigation cases
- Proficiency with CM/ECF filing (Federal and State)
- Experience with billing and ABA task codes
- Ability to work closely with our attorneys
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Experience with a litigation document management system
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
- Experience in personal injury, premises liability and professional liability a plus
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program preferred
- Experience working with ProLaw
- Experience working with insurance companies
