Collins & Lacy to Present at Palmetto Paralegal Association

[Columbia, S.C.] – Collins & Lacy, P.C. attorney Amy Neuschafer and public relations director Kara Gormley Meador will present at the Palmetto Paralegals Association’s (PPA) 20th Annual Seminar.

The PPA seminar is October 15, 2010 at the Columbia Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Kara Gormley Meador is a featured speaker during the morning session. Meador will give share how paralegals are an integral part of marketing efforts within a law firm.

Amy Neuschafer will present during the afternoon session. Neuschafer, a member of the Collins & Lacy Retail / Hospitality / Entertainment practice group, will discuss the importance of being familiar with the Appellate Court rules and how a paralegal can contribute to the appellate process.

The Palmetto Paralegal Association, formerly known as the Columbia Legal Assistant Association, was established in 1988 to promote professional development through continuing legal education and to enhance the recognition of the paralegal profession within the legal community.
