[COLUMBIA, S.C.] Collins & Lacy, P.C. is pleased to announce that Patrice Broadnax was the recipient of the “Best Overall” award in the Collins & Lacy Children’s Logo Art Contest.
Children of the firm’s employees were invited to submit artwork reflecting their interpretation of the Collins & Lacy logo. The firm’s logo features a palmetto tree with the scales of justice. Miss Broadnax’s entry depicted an abstract drawing of the palmetto tree with the legal scales in soft pastel watercolors. There were seven artwork entries and all of the entries received awards for specific categories ranging from Most Inspiring to Most Creative, with one Best Overall award. Miss Broadnax was awarded a retail gift certificate as Best Overall winner.
“It was very interesting to see the broad range of artistic styles used by the children,” said founding partner, Stan Lacy. “We were pleased to have the entries from each of the children who participated in the contest – they are all winners in my book.”
