Trevor Hughey is Special Counsel practicing in the Construction Practice Group.

A native of Irmo, SC, he graduated from Dutch Fork High School. After graduating from Dutch Fork, he attended the University of South Carolina, where he studied political science and economics. After graduating from USC, He studied at the USC Joseph F. Rice School of Law.

He began his practice in Charlotte, NC, as a general practitioner focusing on real estate transactions, commercial contracting, entity formation, and estate planning. Additionally, he worked in Raleigh, NC, and concentrated his practice in the area of creditors’ rights, including consumer and commercial debt collection, complex creditor defensive litigation, foreclosures, judgment enforcement, and supplemental proceedings, as well as other general litigation.

Trevor now resides in West Columbia and enjoys the gym, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities.
