Attorney Ross Plyler Elected to Leadership Greenville’s Alumni Association

[COLUMBIA, S.C. November 14, 2011] – Collins & Lacy, P.C. is pleased to announce Ross B. Plyler has been elected to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for Leadership Greenville. Plyler is a graduate of the Leadership Greenville Class 37 (2011).

Leadership Greenville is a program designed and facilitated by the Greenville Chamber of Commerce to help develop informed, committed and qualified leaders for Greenville County. Since the program began in 1973, there have been approximately 1,650 participants. Many alumni have served in key leadership positions within their businesses and organizations, as well as city council, county council, school board, members of Congress and judges.

“By serving on the Alumni Association Board of Directors, I look forward to continuing my involvement in this outstanding organization and the opportunity to work closely with Greenville’s business leaders,” said Plyler.

Plyler is a senior associate with Collins & Lacy practicing in the areas of insurance coverage and transportation law. Ross is a summa cum laude graduate of Wofford College, where he received his undergraduate degree in Government and History and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Plyler is currently a member of the House of Delegates for the 13th Judicial Circuit, a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, and a member of the Defense Research Institute. He also serves as Chair of the Goodwill Industries Foundation Board of Upstate/Midlands.
