[COLUMBIA, S.C. February 22, 2011] – Collins & Lacy P.C. is pleased to announce Ross B. Plyler has been named Chair of the Goodwill Industries of the Upstate/Midlands Foundation Board of Directors.
The Goodwill Industries of the Upstate/Midlands Foundation raises, manages and distributes assets to benefit Goodwill Industries of the Upstate/Midlands, an organization that provides life-changing opportunities for the people it serves.
“As chair, I hope to continue fostering the Goodwill Foundation’s growth and mission of providing resources to assist individuals in the Upstate and Midlands through our philosophy of offering a ‘a hand up, not a hand out,’“ said Plyler.
Plyler is a senior associate with Collins & Lacy practicing in the areas of insurance coverage and transportation law. Ross is a summa cum laude graduate of Wofford College, where he received his undergraduate degree in Government and History and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Plyler is currently a member of the House of Delegates for the 13th Judicial Circuit, a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, and a member of the Defense Research Institute.
