Collins & Lacy, P.C. founding partner Joel Collins will present at the  South Carolina Bar Convention Friday, January 20, 2012.  This informative and entertaining program, entitled The Art of Negotiation: Gain Some Perspective, will provide attendees an opportunity to learn and evaluate effective negotiation strategies and tactics regularly employed by today’s practitioners.

The program will offer four distinct perspectives and approaches to negotiation: (1) the Plaintiff’s lawyer; (2) the Civil Defense lawyer; (3) insights gained by an experienced mediator; and (4) the business approach of a sport’s agent. The speakers will share what they have found to be successful negotiation tactics during their careers to help seminar attendees improve and supplement their negotiation tactics to better advocate on behalf of clients.
