[ Greenville, S.C] Collins & Lacy, P.C. is pleased to announce that Ross B. Plyler has been elected to serve as a 13th Judicial Circuit Delegate in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates.
Ross’s practice focus includes college and university law, employment law and insurance coverage. He has also practiced state and federal court litigation and served as lead prosecuting attorney for municipal clients by litigating jury and bench trials for various minor criminal offenses.
Ross was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a summa cum laude graduate from Wofford College in 2000, earning his degrees in Government and History. He graduated cum laude from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Ross was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and a recipient of the CALI Award (American Jurisprudence) Contracts I, Torts II. Following law school, Ross served as law clerk for The Honorable Henry M. Herlong, Jr., United States District Court Judge.
Ross is a member of the Board of Directors for the Goodwill Foundation, as well as the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
