Collins & Lacy, P.C. expands their Trucking Defense and Workers’ Compensation Practice Groups
Collins & Lacy, P.C. welcomes attorney Rebecca Rayner to their firm. Rayner, a graduate of the Capital University Law School, comes to Collins and Lacy, P.C. from Columbus, Ohio, with over 5 years of legal experience and will join their trucking defense practice group as well as assist with the workers’ compensation practice group.
“I’ll be working primarily with trucking litigation and workers’ compensation defense,” said Rayner. “Collins & Lacy was looking for an experienced attorney to expand on their trucking defense practice group, but with the additional experience that I have with workers’ compensation, I will be serving multiple roles for our team to fit needs as they arise. I’m looking forward to getting back into handling files, learning and practicing South Carolina law, obtaining favorable results for our clients, and growing and learning as an attorney in general.”
After receiving her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications with a Public Relations specialization from Wright State University, Rayner went back to school to earn her Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University and then she enrolled in Capital University Law School where she earned her J.D. in 2015. Rayner spent five years working with Reminger Co. L.P.A. in Columbus, Ohio, with workers’ compensation employer defense litigation and with handling insurance defense claims in trucking related matters. Just prior to moving to Columbia, South Carolina and joining Collins & Lacy, P.C., she worked as an associate at Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, L.L.P. in workers’ compensation employer defense litigation in Columbus, Ohio.
