[COLUMBIA, S.C. June 15, 2015] – Collins & Lacy, P.C. is pleased to announce Janie Langdale, Director of Marketing at Collins & Lacy, P.C., has graduated from the Leadership Columbia class of 2014-2015. Sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Columbia program provides existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge and network.
“It is a gratifying and humbling feeling to graduate from Leadership Columbia,” said Langdale. “Our class has put in a lot of hard work through our community project, Shared Streets, and we are very grateful to have been given this opportunity to impact our community while becoming better leaders.”
Langdale and her classmates completed the Shared Streets project in April, an effort to advance Columbia as a bicycle and pedestrian friendly community. Langdale helped install sharrows and bike racks on downtown streets, renovate and streetscape the Lincoln Street Tunnel, and introduce an interactive mobile app promoting different transportation options to better connect Columbia areas including Vista, Five Points, USC, and Main Street.
Prior to joining Collins & Lacy, P.C., Langdale worked more than five years as the art director at a local advertising firm developing inspired brands and producing award-winning advertising campaigns for a wide range of clients. Langdale currently serves the community as a member of the Junior League of Columbia and is Co-Programming Chair of Legal Marketing Association of the Southeast Columbia Chapter (LMASE). She is a summa cum laude graduate of Auburn University.
