[COLUMBIA, S.C. September 7, 2016] – In addition to contributing to Collins & Lacy, P.C.’s Workers’ Compensation blog, the firm’s co-founder, Stan Lacy, is now an author of a national workers’ compensation professors blog, which includes posts from university professors from around the country.
The purpose of this new resource is to provide clients and followers with analysis of timely topics from an academic perspective. Weekly posts are set to be produced, and a number of professors have already posted articles discussing current issues. The site is aptly named the “Workers’ Compensation Law Prof Blog.”.
“When I was approached to be part of this project, I thought it was an excellent idea,” said Lacy. “We hope the website will offer a more scholastic viewpoint that is objective, well-researched and informative, and we aim to provide thoughtful articles for not only other academics, but for lawyers, commissioners, and judges as well.”
Stan Lacy has been practicing law for over 40 years and is entering into his 35th year teaching workers’ compensation as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
