COLUMBIA, S.C.- Collins & Lacy, P.C., a leading South Carolina business defense law firm, has announced a new slate of officers and attorney elevations.
Elected President of the firm is Shareholder, Christian Stegmaier. Mr. Stegmaier joined the firm in 2002 and heads the firm’s Retail & Hospitality practice group. Recognized as a national leader in retail & hospitality defense law, he lends extensive legal and management experience to this leadership role. He has served in leadership positions with the DRI, PRIMERUS International, and was recently promoted to Staff Judge Advocate for the SC State Guard.

Claude Prevost was elected Vice President of the firm. Mr. Prevost serves at the chairperson for the firm’s Trucking and Transportation Practice Group. Since 2016, he has been recognized as a Rising Star® by South Carolina Super Lawyers. He has served as a board member for the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association and is currently the treasurer for the Richland County Bar Association.
Chris Adams was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Recognized with a Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Adams is a charter fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He is a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association.
