Anne Marie Hempy Chairs Cinderella Project
February 13, 2010[Greenville, SC]
Working together with other young lawyers throughout the state, Anne Marie plans to make dreams come true for high school girls in Columbia. “I am very excited to be a part of the ninth annual Cinderella Project. This year, projects will be held in Aiken, Charleston, Columbia, Greenwood, Greenville, and Myrtle Beach," said Hempy. "Last year, over 700 young women throughout South Carolina were able to find a prom dress because of the Cinderella Project. We hope to help even more young women in 2010. We could not do it without the support of the community, as all of the dresses and accessories are donated by community members and area businesses. It feels great to be a part of something that can make such a difference to a young high school student." A boutique will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 9 a.m. to noon at the USC School of Law located at 701 Main Street in Columbia to give the girls an opportunity select their dresses.
Area residents are encouraged to donate their clean dresses in all sizes, as well as evening bags, or other accessories and door prizes for the Cinderella Project at one of the following locations by March 3, 2010:
- Collins & Lacy, 1330 Lady St. , 6th Floor, Columbia
