History

In 1984, Collins & Lacy was founded when Joel W. Collins, Jr. and Stanford E. Lacy combined their practices to establish a firm that would concentrate primarily on defense litigation. Since our founding over two decades ago, the firm has grown to four office locations and 31 attorneys  representing local, regional and national clients in several areas of business litigation including: commercial transportation, construction, employment law, insurance coverage, products liability, professional liability, public policy, retail / hospitality / entertainment law and workers' compensation.

Because of our excellent reputation in our community and our state, Collins & Lacy was selected to become a member of Primerus, an international network of select lawyers and law firms sworn to uphold the highest standards for integrity, civility and community service.
