History

In 1984, Collins & Lacy was founded when Joel W. Collins, Jr. and Stanford E. Lacy combined their practices to establish a firm that would concentrate primarily on defense litigation. Since our founding over two decades ago, the firm has grown to include 25 attorneys with a primary focus on defense litigation, representing local, regional, and national clients in the areas of business litigation, products liability, contracts, construction, trucking, professional malpractice, insurance, bad faith, healthcare law, land use, premises liability, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense.
