Logan Wells is an associate practicing in the areas of retail/hospitality/ entertainment, premises liability and insurance coverage. She also writes about insurance coverage issues and trends in the South Carolina Insurance Law Blog.  She received her undergraduate degree in history and political science from Furman University and earned her juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. 

During her undergraduate career, she worked for a law firm in Spartanburg as a legal assistant.  While in law school, she worked as a summer associate for Collins & Lacy, before joining the firm as an attorney in the fall of 2009.

Practice Focus/Trial Experience

  • Retail/Hospitality/Entertainment: defending  national and regional leaders in the retail, hospitality and entertainment sectors doing business in South Carolina in claims alleging premises liability, loss prevention, food adulteration, third party torts and alcohol liability.  Also involved in matters pertaining to licensure and other administrative decisions of state regulatory agencies.
  • Premises Liability:  representing retail and restaurant clients in personal injury actions arising from "slip and fall" and "trip and fall" cases.  
  • Insurance Coverage: representing American and international insurance companies in litigation involving coverage disputes, first party claims, commercial liability, errors and omissions and bad faith claims.
