Will Bryan is a shareholder practicing in the areas of trucking and transportation, premises liability, municipality law, and professional negligence.  Prior to joining Collins & Lacy in 2000, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable John L. Breeden, Jr., with whom he co-authored Improving Jury Deliberations:  A Perspective from the Circuit Court Bench.

Practice Focus/Trial Experience

  • Municipality Litigation, representing public entities/agencies in condemnation actions and other litigation, principally involving water and sewer utilities at the trial and appellate level, including an environmental tort action resulting in one of the largest verdicts in Lexington County history
  • Trucking and Transportation Litigation, representing regional and national motor carriers, bus companies, moving companies, and their drivers in a variety of litigation contexts, including wrongful death and personal injury actions (related to both driver neglect and/or negligent hiring/retention) and cargo claims filed in state and federal court
  • Premises Liability, representing retail and restaurant clients in personal injury actions arising from "slip and fall" and "trip and fall" cases
  • Professional Negligence Claims, representing financial planners, stock brokers, insurance brokers, insurance agents, engineers, and other professional clients in both state and federal court with a number of reported decisions
